All of a sudden I am not able to send emails in outlook. I have tested sending myself emails and other people. The emails show as sent and in that folder but are NOT actually being sent!

If you are experiencing issues with sending emails in Outlook, there are a few things you can try to fix the problem. Here are some steps you can take:

1. Check your internet connection: Make sure that you are connected to the internet and that your connection is stable. If your internet connection is weak or unstable, it can cause issues with sending emails.

2. Check your email settings: Make sure that your email settings are correct. Check that your outgoing mail server settings are correct and that your email account is set up properly.

3. Check your antivirus software: Sometimes antivirus software can interfere with sending emails. Try disabling your antivirus software temporarily and see if that resolves the issue.

4. Check your email size: If you are trying to send a large email with attachments, it may be too large to send. Try sending the email without attachments or with smaller attachments.

5. Check your email address: Make sure that you are sending the email to the correct email address. Double-check the email address to ensure that it is correct.

6. Restart Outlook: Sometimes simply restarting Outlook can resolve the issue. Close Outlook and then reopen it to see if that resolves the issue.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to contact your email provider or IT support for further assistance.

Conclusion

I hope these steps help you resolve the issue with sending emails in Outlook. If you continue to experience problems, don’t hesitate to reach out to your email provider or IT support for further assistance. Good luck!
